3. A Tribe Called Quest
Classic hip-hop
5 albums
1985-1998

man I think I just hate the letter A. another band I really need to get into more, one I've always liked but have left largely ignored. Their second album, The Low End Theory, came out in 1991, and I think I listened to it for the first time in 2006 or 2007.

Anyway, what can I write about this album? It's a classic, and this is one reason I'm banging out so many of these little paragraphs tonight - because there are a lot of artists I like, but there's only so much to say about one or two albums, especially when people have already written so much about them! It'd be cool if this held some significant place in my life, like a lot of albums do, but it doesn't. it's just really damn good! the rhymes are great, the production's amazing (especially for someone who loves jazz & hip-hop), and it's just all-around a great album. it deserves the praise it gets.
