Great to see some stuff I can comment on finally!
VdGG are just great, and I must say I love the difference in "Refugees" being a laidback ballad, which was in fact one of the first VdGG songs I ever heard, though "Pawn hearts" remains my favourite of their albums.
Supertramp, "Child of vision": is there a better way to end an album? That absolutely amazing piano solo/outro from Davies: superb! I also love the lyric:
"We have no reason to fight/ Cos we both know that we're right!"
Genesis: "In the cage". Gabriel at his most manic, you can just feel the sense of dread and panic and fear and confusion, and the way the music swirls and eddies with his vocal. Great, great album, a real classic.
