This album is so bleak and depressing it should come with some kind of warning message. The whole album feels like it's draining your emotions and taking you to a place with no light whatsoever. It's hard to know whether the cover of 'Sunshine' at the end is meant to cheer you up or finish you off but at the end you can't help but feel miserable. I might listen to some Codeine to cheer me up. |
This quickly became one of my very favourite albums. I absolutely adore this record. It is very depressing but I actually just find it more relaxing these days. Either way it is a stunning, sublime record.
