Were you alive in the 60s?
If so then you must surely be able to remember that the charts were filled with a lot of "bad" music then too. If not then surely you have been able to pick and choose which music of this time you wanted to listen to and didn't have to endure exposure to all the stuff you don't like.
Theres always music you will like and always music that you wont.
