Getting an extension built in the back garden so my sister, who has had MS for 11 years now (well, 21: only diagnosed in 2001 though) can at last move downstairs and rejoin the human race. Ok so far.
Then today I settle down to watch the match and lo and behold! No satellite signal is being received! Seems the newly-built extension is now blocking the signal to the dish, which is in fairness situated low down on the back wall.

Now I have to pay 100 Euro (God who knows with the way the Euro is these days, but probably about 200 dollars. Well, maybe 150) to pay some guy to come out and move the dish up so that I can watch TV again. Meantime, no telly! I'm reduced to watching a downloaded version of "The Apprentice.
Australia!"
Life officially sucks.
Well not really: the extension had to be built. But 100 Euro to get the dish moved?? Plus I'm expecting to pay about 2000 (yeah, you read that right: two
thousand ) to get my cats back from the vets once the thing is finished and they can come home. Expenses I did not expect, at all.
