Thanks for tracking down some info about the album, stp. I also knew nothing about these guys, fell in love with the sound and was struck by how alien the music sounded. It`s like church music from another galaxy.
The only issue I might raise with you is your choice of stand-out track; I think my vote might go to the last one; the 10-minute
Mountain Story.
BTW, I have just aquired this album:-
As the cover suggests, it`s a more modest affair, without the female choir, and the stringed instruments give it a warmer, more down-to-earth feel, but it still sounds quite exceptional.
