I can't really say, it's always a big loss in some way, I guess Kurt Cobain was a big loss, but so are a lot of the guys on the list of music star deaths.
Lennon made a Beatles reuinion impossible. Hendrix and Morrison died so young and were still creating very high quality music at the time of their deaths. It's difficult to say.
