Prés, Thomas Tallis, Carlo Gesualdo (who was a murderer !), Orlando Lassus, Giovanni Palestrina, John Taverner, Tomas Luis de Victoria, Johannes Ockeghem.
Harmonia Mundi and Deutsche Harmonia Mundi have some fine interpretations of Renaissance vocal music. And also The Hilliard Ensemble.
