Glad it grew on you some my good sir! It's certainly a bit different from your typical modern prog. record.
A couple of interesting tidbits to keep in mind.
1. District 97 were an instrumental progressive metal outfit until they recruited their lead vocalist, similar to
Liquid Tension Experiment...but with a violin.
2. Their lead vocalist,
Leslie Hunt, was an
American Idol finalist back in 2007.
3. Their next record is coming out within a month or so!
