Goon just popped up on my Netflix que so I decided to watch it, and I have to say I really liked what I saw. Still isn't as good as
Slap Shot which is pretty much the definitive hockey movie (unless you're a little kid in which case it's
The Mighty Ducks). I enjoy it when films with international releases portray Canada in a modern, non wilderness light. Jay Baruchel's character was kind of annoying, but I liked how the film pretty much dropped him right after Doug moves to Halifax.
