Again if it's not your thing that's fine, that level of aggression and dissonance definitely isn't for everyone. however saying that about essentially THE landmark album of a genre in the same paragraph where you deride the entire genre makes it pretty clear that you're dismissing the album on what you're tastes are, not on any real flaw with the album. The album does exactly what they set out to do, and it does it extremely well.
I will admit that perhaps petty was a bad choice of wording but I stand by the metaphor.
