I sort of agree with your spectrum theory but I think it's flawed. If it exists then your spectral curve seems more linear than you imply.
If you aren't homosexual at all does that mean that you're on an extreme end of the spectrum? I'm male, well into adulthood, and I've never been sexually attracted to any male so can I boast being one of the "very few extremely heterosexual" people in the world or would you say I more likely just haven't met the right guy?
