For me, for the few years I've been listening to music,

Bruce Springsteen- Greetings from Asbury Park, Darkness on The Edge of Town, close to mastering The Wild the Innocent and the E-Street Shuffle

Pink Floyd-Dark Side of the Moon

Steve Earl-Guitar Town and Copperhead Road

Rolling Stones-Exile on Main Street

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers debut album

The Bruce Springsteen albums are just so detailed. The greetings from Asubry Park is a hot mess, but as a teen I am constantly finding things in them that just connect to me. The drug references and the grab-assing and the songs about various childhood events...kinda just hit that whoaa cord with me...Darkness on the Edge of Town parallels what's happening to me and my hometown, and too the folks I know.

The rest of the albums are just Damn good.
