My opinion on the issue aside, I think it would have been smarter for Tosh to stand by the response. If he really is apologizing and changing his show because of this, it shows he thinks it was too far as well. Now not only do his critics have more power behind their stance but his supporters are going to find him weak. He's done now... I wonder how it feels to end a promising career with one comment.
