I'm With You and Stadium Arcadium are two must have's in a Red Hot Chili Peppers collection if you ask me. More I'm With You than the other. I don't agree that they don't sound unique. Kiedis doesn't strike me as a guy to have a voice that sounds like everything else, it's definitely different.
