That's usually the case for every band. I'm really just going by what I've collectively listened to from decade to decade. Coming out in the 80s they had something going. Like I said they had their phases, and part of their early work was original, but other parts of it didn't concoct a new sound. The argument was towards "uniqueness". Questioning that due to their later career becoming hardly so. That's the major part I was pointing at, and it's a big part of their career.
