Haha yeah, there was a lot of hate for John during the games. I was tweeting about the Olympics every 2 seconds (I'm just that cool) and reading a lot of tweets during the games too and there was a lot of hate for him.

Did you see this, Urban? Its one of many BBC VTs during the games that left me absolutely speechless. This particular one was about the pressure of being the "face of the games", narrated by Michael Johnson. Its streamed from the BBC website so will only work for those in the UK. If I find a link on another site I'll edit this post for other people to watch, as it is absolutely wonderful.

Also the Olympics always provides great stories. Whether it be of personal triumph, overcoming odds or tragedy or of just sheer acts of strength or dedication. None more so, in my opinion, at these games than Manteo Mitchell.
