Maybe I'm not who you're addressing with this comment since they don't really "get up my nose", but I think what some people have against them is how bland they are. They're not horrible—they do have a handful of songs I like, mostly for nostalgic reasons—but they don't exactly do anything that's particularly interesting. I'm honestly amazed that they've continued to be so successful for as long as they have since, to me, there's really nothing that sets them apart from other 80s hard rock bands.
