It's this widget that ranks you based on some kind of algorithm. Based on what I've read, a realistic but high number of plays per day and evenness of play count distribution (particularly in your Top 50) factor pretty heavily into having a higher level, in addition to what I'm assuming are usual things like how many plays and artists you've scrobbled. Based on their system, I'm a Level 40, and the highest level that anyone's achieved is 96, with 25 being the average.

Of course, the whole thing is based on arbitrary play counts and doesn't factor in things like genre variability. And that's not even getting into the inherent issues of trying to objectively determine your magnitude of "music addiction".


It's a fun little thing so long as you don't take it too seriously or anything.
