Warrent's 3rd album released in 1993 (Well into the Grunge era) went gold so plenty of people were still buying their records, Not bad for a band with only one song people remember. Then after that they broke up. Again nothing to do with 'alternative rock'.
WASP split up in 1990 so Blackie Lawless could record a solo album, again nothing to do with 'alternative rock'

Vince released a typical Crue album in 1993 and it bombed.
I think this Warrant album was released in late 92. It shipped Gold but I don't think it sold enough. That's sad, because it was their best record.
Looking at Wikipedia, this Blackie album was released under the band's name.
