Revenge is just a soap opera with better acting (kinda), better writing (for the most part), better dialogue (sort of), better production values (alright that's definitely true), and made for primetime rather than daytime television. You know, you make some good points. Never really saw it that way though. I mean, in some ways then most drama could be seen as being soap opera-like. Then again, as I mentioned, have you ever SEEN British (or, lord save us from all harm, Irish) soaps?? Makes me shiver just to think of it.
