Agreed. I love all of their albums (apart from The Zu Side of the Chadbourne, which is good, not great). Their best albums are Igneo, Carboniferous, and How to Raise an Ox, imo. Those three albums really capture how dynamic the trio can be, from modern free jazz/improvisation to avant-prog to noise rock. Usually, if it's got anything to do with Zu, it's got my stamp of approval .
