Good. Tim Burton is a good choice. Consistent craziness. There were some bits in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which left me a bit dazed and confused, probably because I thought that as he had to follow an already well-known story he'd stick more to the plot and it would end up being a bit more sane than his other movies. Did he do that? Not a bit of it! It was the most perplexing cinema experience I've had in a long, long time, possibly ever.
Bizarre. Yes. Genius? Yes too!
For crazy storytelling the Coen brothers are also good. 'O Brother Where Art Thou' is brilliant - of course those convicts know how to sing! Why wouldn't they!
