I agree completely. I prefer the album to Blonde on Blonde at this point. Highway 61 Revisited is much more consistent, though...although the final three songs are a really good run, too! I think Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues is actually one of my favorite Dylan songs...although I couldn't say exactly why. Just rustles up my emotions, I guess.

Blonde on Blonde has never really made much of an impression on me. It doesn't really have any of my favorite songs on it and it's long. I'll listen to it more though because it has a very enjoyable sound.

I'm gonna put Empire Burlesque through Oh Mercy on my ipod, so I'll try and listen to those soon. Finally get past all this 80s stuff!
