Exacty, yeah he was a cool guy, but he wasn't a true musician, he was picked solely for his image, the pistols even admited that, he was a horrible bass player, he couldn't even play the simplest punk chords, Lemmy from Motorhead and the sex pistols former bassist both tried to teach him the basics, but they both were quoted for saying he was a horrible student, he didn't even play on Never Mind the Bollocks despite being given credit, Steve Jones actualy played the bass parts, and at live shows his bass would be unamped and instead of actualy playing he was ordered to mimic it...He was THAT bad...Hes only so popular because he killed his girlfriend and ODed.
