I really enjoyed this nice little stop-motion animated flick, and I usually do end up enjoying films like this. It's a very visually impressive film with a lot of detail put into it seemingly, I can imagine it took a lot of time and work to make but it was certainly worth the effort by the looks of it. The overall feeling that the film gives is dark and trippy, and sometimes plain bizarre. But it does have a nice light-hearted touch to it and it's clever humour and sense of adventure gives it a wide appeal.

The film was made to exploit 3D, It's a shame because a lot of the comic book movies have been good recently. If the trailers were anything to go by it does look like it would be an awful film, seems like more of a 3D cash-in job to me. The original Judge Dredd film from 1995 was a complete flop as well.
