I'd second that. To me
...36 Chambers was the equivalent of a warm up album. It's good, but they weren't quite at peak performance just yet. I think it gets such praise because it's become a time-tested classic and everyone seems to have memories that surround the album. I wish there were a lot more great Wu-Tang albums.
Wu-Tang Forever was amazing;
The W was decent, as was Iron Flag. 2007's
8 Diagrams was a huge disappointment. I strongly believe that most of the best Wu-tang performances are found on the solo albums and The Swarm compilations.
