The story was a little derivative but the action was staged with aplomb, all close angles and one take shooting which is unusual in action films. A decent Friday night beer movie.
Much better than I thought it would be although the Hulk's presence in the film does ride against what is synonymous with the character IE uncontrollable rage coupled with blinkered anger that seemed to subside conveniently towards the films climax. Still a decent watch.
A ridiculously scathing attack on 21st century media and stardom that managed to straddle the thin line of being both entertaining and cerebral and remain very low key at the same time. Very good performances from the leads and a quirky soundtrack added to what is a little gem.
The music monologues are priceless and confirmed what I already thought about certain bands although I never saw Alice Cooper's music in that light. I have to rethink my opinion!
