Same here, I don't know what to think either. Anorexia is a terrible condition. At the same time, the media (the part that's aimed at teenagers at least) tends to give this impression of "its bad to BE anorexic, but its good to LOOK anorexic". They get very excited if anybody famous loses a lot of weight in a short space of time and start congratuling them, unless it comes along with loud rumours of an 'eating disorder' which suddenly makes it all different and then they hate it.

I saw in a magazine a calculation of the BMIs (body mass indices) of young female, british celebrities. They were almost all in the 15-17 range, which shows just how underweight the celebrity sub-culture is!
