What I mean is that a lot of people feel that way. They don't like either candidate, they dislike the two party system, etc. What perturbs me is that this sometimes just turns into apathy instead of actively trying to change the party system for the better or, more realistically, working within an existing party to make things better. It allows the rhetorical, dogmatic empty suits to dominate politics and create minions of unreasoning proto-people who vote red or blue because they're told to.
The parties need reasonable people to change them. I just think if people are fed up with the way it works, they should get involved – not protest in political silence.
This isn't directed at you, just the sentiment that's fairly common.
