America and Canada are both multi-cultural countries but are culturally still in their nappies by comparison to Europe.
With so many diverse roots, its only natural people claim to be Greek/Canadian or Italian,Irish,Polish/American or whatever.
Adidasss is right. If your born in say Canada or America for instance, then Europeans will consider you to be... Canadian or American.
