Serbian food is similar in a lot of ways to Greek - of course they are both Balkan and have a long history together with the Byzantine and Ottoman empires, so there are similarities across the board. And of course there are also similarities with Turkish food as well.
I like burek, I recommend the cheese filled kind. Its really good phyllo pastry that is usually always eaten with yogurt. I also like Proja, which is just a simple bread but it tastes great, and desserts like Krempita (like a custard pie) and Sampita (which is like a marshmellow type of filling on a phyllo crust).
