Well, yesterday I put together a proposal, called a meeting, and laid everything out, provided diagrams and details about the proposed system and the benefits, including justification and ROI, and he went for it!
So today I got the company credit card, and blew through 10,000 dollars worth of server upgrades that will cover us for high availability, redundancy and scalability.
