Oh yeah, Breaking Bad is one of the better, maybe even the best of these recent shows I've seen. It has a certain Coen brothers vibe.

American Horror Story? Nice campy fun. The first season was all over the place, but towards the end it became really silly (and not in a good way). This new season, Asylum, may be even more over the top, and gory (we have mad house cliches, demonic possession, zombies, mad Nazi scientist, aliens, 'slutty nuns', serial killer, what else?...), but it somehow works for now. I hope the story arc is going opposite of the first season, from over the top to more focus. Anyway, I like it. It's fun.
