Pretty good. Ben Affleck directing Ben Affleck makes for a very "Ben Affleck-ish" (if the poster wasn't indicative enough)movie.
Dead Man
Crap. A couple truly novel, daring scenes don't make up for a boring drawn out self indulgent bs. Johnny Depp plays the exact same character he does in every other film. The script by Jarmusch can be painful sometimes, especially the back and forth with the native american dude. I'm all for arthouse black and white directorial debuts (thankyou very much aronofsky) but this film is just a drag.
Really great film. Cool hybrid mockumentary/reenactment. It was nice to see Jack do a roll where it isn't all obnoxious screaming or air guitar-in. Very interesting character piece.
