Since so many are asking
I'm the same guy, but when I was a moderator, I made a habit of moderating my own behaviour on the boards. I guess that stuck with me even after I stepped down, but it's been gradually changing. Over time I've come to the realization that as I'm no longer investing any work in the site, the only reason I'm here is more or less to have fun. That's the role MB should have in my life. I've felt like that for a while actually, but I think the reason people are noticing now is because I've posted a lot more the last few days than I normally have in quite a while - and in some fun threads too!
