So I just realised I kinda jumped into posting without actually introducing myself, but better late than never eh? I'm Alex born in England, now living in Wales but I've lived all over the place really..I'm 21, finished Uni earlier this year and now that i'm in the real world of work there's not much exciting to tell...
I'm a big fan of music and football, the name Newkie comes from my support of the quite brilliant Newcastle United. I'm not really musically talented, I had a guitar in the past but I used it mainly to look cool and pretentious....Nah, I tried my hand at it but I prefer just scribbling lyrics down to be honest. Music taste is pretty varied, skate punk probably being my favourite. Few of my favourite bands/artists are The Stranglers, Cream, Disturbed, NOFX, Descendents, The Shins, Norman Cook, Sublime, Rise Against, Nas, Propagandhi, The Kinks, Justice, Gorrilaz and Flogging Molly.
