I like the Red State Date ad better than the BSD ad, although the gun in the pants, Sarah Palin phone picture, and horror over the Chicken Fillet were amusing. I thought for sure that since he played the oboe, he was a liberal. I was fooled. :/
I think those ads are funny because there is some truth to them. They actually show quite well what the world of dating is like in the U.S., in my experience. A person's political affiliation shows so much about his or her beliefs and life philosophy that I suspect many people weed out potential dates simply based on political party alone. Or maybe that was just me!
