I can go one better!
I bought a game, really cheap, some gods fighting heroes thing, never bothered to even open it for months (bought it as part of some "3 for 20 Euro" deal or something) but when I eventually got around to it, opened the box, and it was
EMPTY!
NO disc at ALL! I just cursed my luck. I mean, how could I go back months later and say you sold me an empty box? Plus I really wasn't that bothered and like you Pete it didn't cost me enough that it would be worth it to go back. Even if I did, how would I prove it? Plus I think the shop had by then closed down.
Another example of my wonderful luck!
