It was kind of hard for me to get into the Britpop scene being that I live in the US and didn't grow up hearing those bands, but for a while I was kind of amazed that all these bands (Oasis, Blur, Cast, Pulp, Suede, etc) were popular during my lifetime yet I had never heard of most of them. I was really into that a few years ago just because it was way different than the 90s music I was used to. To this day Oasis is one of my favorite bands xD
