True on all the instruments, but Mike had a pretty spectacular voice, especially for pop, and he had breadth in his compositions. Prince did have a pretty versatile voice, but Mike wasn't shabby, even if it lacked versatility it had the passion and even that kind of nonchalant skill that Marvin or Jimi utilized (though not as good as either).
