i feel the need to respond to this one in particular:
Quote:
The potential role of cannabis in driving accidents has been further supported by analytical data showing the presence of THC in the blood and saliva of injured or impaired drivers with a higher frequency than probably occurs in the general public or in non-injured, non-impaired drivers. The data on culpability of drivers under the influence of cannabis are not conclusive, but are strongly suggestive because of the relationship to cannabis dosage.

ive seen several (not going to say ALOT but several) cases where they (they meaning whoever heads the anti marijuana crusade nowdays) have placed the blame of particular accidents on marijuana, without specifying though whether or not the user was in fact under the influence at the time of the accident. they simply state that THC was in their system. a day ago? a week ago? a MONTH ago? Im not condoning getting stoned out of your mind and then hitting the freeway, but i dont think the danger is as sever as they claim. Im sure there are more accidents caused by drunks and people who are sober than people who are high. but the second THC shows up in their system it gets the blame.
