I still hate that I'm, at my job, not supposed to develop any manner of rapport with the customers. I do it anyway, when it's a long call I'm pretty certain won't be QA'd...but I feel like a cold, heartless, robot when I'm on shorter calls.
It's like,
"My husband owes me child support, and it's due on the fifth, and I need my phone because my son needs to call me when he's back from his basketball games,"
and my verbiage is like, "I certainly understand that. Is there $50 you could pay today over the phone, from a checking or savings account?"
I hate it worse than anything.
