Those happen to be two of my favorite mid-80's rock songs. There are musical oddities to both, and both have slightly dark lyrics that go well with the up-and-down pacing and moody singing. Now that I'm listening carefully to the former, I can say it's better lyrically and has better lead guitar and drumming.
