Yeah their sound really has changed. Their 1997 album
Brave Murder Day is pretty decent, it also features Mikael Akerfeldt on voacls too. There was a certian monotony to their 2009 album that I found enduring, but their latest release really didn't do anything for me, although the song you posted did end up on one of my metal 2012 mixes.
