So I was out doing some more Christmas shopping and decided to pick up a cheap set of earbuds for myself to use at work. Got home, began to unpackage them so I could stick 'em in my bag I bring to work so I wouldn't forget in the morning.
30 minutes later:
WHAT THE F*CK, PLASTIC?
WHY SO IMPOSSIBLE?
And yes, I broke those scissors trying to get the packaging open, while also trying not to cut myself on the RAZOR SHARP EDGES OF DISTRESSED AND MUTILATED PLASTIC, while simultaneously trying not to destroy the product inside.
I was sitting there, sweating, cursing, accidentally spilling drinks, the damn cat trying to play with the dangling wires, and wrestling with this f*cking evil, satanic, completely sadistic packaging scheme that is specifically designed to irreversibly damage your psyche and ultimately ruin your fingers or your life, whichever comes first.
Eventually, I MacGyvered the last bit out. I don't even know if they work. I'll wait until the last 30 minutes are behind me by 12 hours.
