Jay-Z is a bad example mate, he is slimy and ruthless as fhuck. Charity is relative as well, it's all well and good donating to charity or whatever when you're worth about 300m.
I liked ODB, I read some stories about him saving a girl from a burning car then checking into hospital under an alias to check on her, and also getting a gun off a gangster who tried to rob him and pointing it back at him, assuming both of these are true then they're great stories. He had real charisma imo. Snoop Dogg is cool as fhuck as well, he seems a genuinely nice guy, I like that wherever he tours he tries to embrace where he is, like wearing the Welsh rugby shirt in Wales, that sort of thing.
There aren't many musicians I respect though, I can't think of any anyway.
Actually Will.i.am seems alright too, although a bit pretentious.
