Actually it only has meaning in the sociological sense. Sociology being the study of human social behavior. Gender is a huge factor in human social behavior even if it is a social construct.

True, I suppose (I'm no geneticist). I think that a much more interesting discussion would be about what it means to be an adult regardless of gender.
