For classic albums definitely get the 180 gram vinyl versions which are double albums with only a couple of tracks per side with the least amount of compression possible. Vinyl is really making a big comeback and many bands and companies alike acknowledging this and releasing music this way.

I have a record deck coming my way around March next year and cannot wait to get back into vinyl, but a great deck is nothing without a decent amp set up in the first place regardless of the music that you buy.
