First look at what was the last thing you touch see if the problem is there. If not... you have to undo everything, P-ups, pots and jack. And then check for loose wiring, do a continuity check, if you did some soldering make sure there isn't a bad soldering joints. It's good to have string and maybe a bendy wire around to put it all back together again. Use string or bendy wire and thread it through the whole attach it to the compentent and pull it back to the proper spot. Attach before hand to make it easier.

This is if you have a fair understanding of electronics and a lot of patients. If not maybe see if you can find someone to fix it.
